Jadaka al-Ghaithu

One of my favorite Muwashshahat, a catchy classic in Maqam Huzam/Sikah. The lyrics speak nostalgically about Andalucia (the origin of the Muwashshah genre of poetry). The middle verse (known as the khana) of this particular muwashshah has room for the vocalist to improvise on "ya la lelli."
